This story is the first one of this book. It takes place during the Second World War. A group of soldiers who belong to the British Aircraft are setting in Greece. We are in 1941 so the German army is still strong. The reader becomes the witness of some battles, some fires, the suffering of the local population but also their solidarity and commitment with the British soldiers. All these facts may not be interesting for the reader used to different tales of this author. But, in the middle of that mess, there is something which gives a particular meaning to the story.
