April Meeting, Diana Salazar's Stilettos by Elena García Ruiz

Diana Salazar's Stilettos

Elena García tells us about her career and the specific text to read:

I have always been surrounded by books since my parents have been great readers. I studied Psychology and I have worked above all in the Training sector. I have completed a Master's Degree in Creative Writing.

I started sending letters to newspapers and short stories to contests in 2015.

And I have my own blog www.helanruiz.com since 2021. Here I upload the writings I publish in different media, such as the newspaper El País, the South of Malaga and writing websites such as Diversidad Literaria.

This particular story was born from a contest where the words stilettos, hotel and trip had to appear.

The main character's name is Diana Salazar, it has been inspired by a Mexican series that I watched when I lived in Colombia.

The structure is a nod to French cinema, where the characters are intertwined even without knowing each other, through a common thread, in this case, the shoes.

Diana Salazar Stilettos is one of the short stories written by Elena García Ruiz. You can consult more information about the author along with other of her works in her blog.
